  1. Ken,

I think you already have most of the sources that I tend to refer to online and a whole lot that I tend to look at in the future!

There are some individual writers/ministers that have had and continue to have tremendous input into my life; R.C.Sproul, Leonard Ravenhill, and Oswald Chambers.

These may not be sources that we typically seek out to prepare messages but they are of great inspiration. (and they do have some things that are fitting for general teaching/preaching)

I also use WordSearch extensively for my Digital Bible studies and message preparation. www.wordsearchbible.com They have a free downloadable Bible Program that is pretty nice as well. I am sort of partial to their products as I was a field tester for them 80's. (yes, as in 1980......) Now you have a better idea of my age.....

  2. RC Sproul is one of my favorite teachers as well. I used to listen to his cassettes by the dozen.

  3. His series on "The Holiness of God" pretty much changed everything for me....

  4. I think for me it was his series on Romans, including the section in Romans 9 on predestination... an area I really resisted at first.

  5. So this recent, independent, mostly accurate survey indicates that 49% of all pastors suffer from depression on Monday morning. The survey also indicates that the "other" 51% are liars...
